Understanding payment formats helps avoid confusion during Astropay betting. AstroPay runs in two different modes, and each suits a different task.
AstroPay Card (Prepaid) works as a virtual card with 16 digits and a CVV. Users buy it for a fixed amount, such as ₹1000. After purchase, the card works once and expires after use. Balance leftovers do not return, so exact amounts matter. This format fits deposits only and does not support payouts.
AstroPay Wallet (App) works as a mobile balance stored inside the app. Funds arrive through UPI or local payments and stay available for future use. Bets use the wallet balance directly, without card details. Winnings can return to the same wallet.
For Astropay betting, the wallet fits better. It supports deposits, payouts, and repeat use, while cards suit one-time payments only.
